TCOC is blessed with godly men and women who direct and implement the vision and mission of God. Part of our leadership team consists of the Ministry Staff, Support Team and Shepherds.
TCOC is led by a dynamic and passionate team of servants who are devoted to living out the life of God. We meet together to build a deeper relationship with each other so that we can encourage those in our direct ministries.
I grew up as a son of a minister and elder and always wanted to preach. Living in the fishbowl of ministry has never deterred me from the life of service to our God. He is the reason for ministry. He is the purpose to serve as a Minister. To bring people closer to knowing and living for God is the reason I have always wanted to serve Him in this role.
I have served as a Youth Minister, Executive Minister and as a Preacher. I have been in active ministry for over 30 years of my life. For a period of time I was in the business world as a Sales Rep, Sales Manager, Vice-President of Operations and Business Owner. I have my Master’s Degree in Business and have taught in the School of Business at the University of Phoenix teaching undergrad and graduate students.
My lovely wife, Linda, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. We have been married for over 20 years and have four children and five grandchildren.
I am passionate about God and using the talents He has given to honor Him. That is why I work part-time with the Children's Ministry (Live Wire Kids) from birth-5th grade at TCOC. Here, I can see kids connect with Christ. My husband Vic and I have three children of our own. I have been a part of TCOC for over 20 years and have been the Children’s Minister for over 10 years.
I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary education and also graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Master’s degree in Early Childhood education.
I am a passionate, energetic, and outspoken follower of Christ. I believe the people of this world have a huge opportunity to love in Christ. My ministry is to instill this basic idea of Christianity - Love God, Love Others!
I love experiencing the Gospel of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection through singing, playing, teaching, and listening. Believing that sharing this gift to the world is a part of who I am is what helps me to uplift others’ spirit in song, word, and deed.
I graduated from Rochester College with a Bachelors in Music Education. I am a lover of Ultimate Frisbee, baking scones, playing with my nephews, the outdoors, and a good board/card game.
TCOC has a highly talented and dedicated servant who blesses the Ministry Staff and entire church with her heart for God and serving others. When you walk in the doors you will see the fingerprint of her work.
I grew up in the downriver area and have attended TCOC for over 12 years. I've been involved in several different ministries and in April 2017 was hired as the church Administrative Assistant. I'm lucky enough to be married to my best friend, Chris, and we have 4 amazing children together. In my free time I enjoy reading, watching movies, working out and spending time with my family.
TCOC is led by a group of men called Shepherds. In the Bible, Shepherds were the title that described the way God desired for His people to be led. The Shepherds at TCOC deeply love God and those who worship here and desire to bless, encourage and guide all to a deeper relationship with Him.
I was born, raised and loved by a single parent Mom in Detroit. We moved to the Downriver area in 1989. I met my beautiful wife, Jessica, in 1996 and we began our family in 1999. I have four amazing children with whom I enjoy watching movies and playing sports.
I began my faith journey at TCOC in 2008 and became a Shepherd in 2015. My LOVE for God and TCOC provides me joy and happiness on a daily basis.
I have been a part of the TCOC family for 40+ years. I married my beautiful wife, Jody, in 2004. I have served in the teen and worship ministry for many years. God has surrounded me with so many amazing people that have made me into who I am today. My desire is to love on God’s people as much as He has loved on me.
